Kill Box Office: Film has a decent second week, will cross Rs. 20 crores over the weekend

  • by

It was a decent second week for Kill as Rs. 7 crores more came in. The film did see some good rise in numbers over the weekend and then had stable weekdays, even though daily collections did go under the Rs. 1 crore mark. Still what mattered was that there are steady footfalls in theatres and that’s what happened too which resulted in an overall decent number.

The first week had seen Rs. 11.36 crores being gathered at the box office so that drop of around 40% is fair enough. However, the third week could see a larger drop since Dharma’s own Bad Newz has released, and the film has not just opened well but is bound to have good rise in numbers over the weekend. It will be the first choice of audiences across the country now and since Kalki (Hindi) is still in the running and doing well, Kill will have a task cut out for itself to make do with the best that it can in days to come.

The film has now reached Rs. 18.36 crores and by the close of weekend, it should manage to cross Rs. 20 crores mark. Overall, the Lakshya starrer would be aiming for a lifetime of around Rs. 25 crores and if it can actually do that then it would be an overall fair result for the film, considering the new star cast and the costs involved.

Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
