To break down the number earned by Kal Ho Naa Ho in terms of multiplex chains, the movie made Rs. 1,57,29,762 in PVR Inox cinemas, Rs. 38,39,384 in Cinepolis, Rs. 1,88,745 in Miraj and Rs. 2,88,759 in Moviemax.
On top of that, the Nikkhil Advani directorial debut had earned. Rs. 2.05 crores in the first week. Hence, its grand total right now is Rs. 4.30 crores. As the movie earned more in the second week than first, it shows that the interest among the public to see this heart-touching film has increased with the passing time.
